Wynand, also known as Vinnie, joined Astute in August 2022 as a Recruitment Consultant for the Power EPC team.
Formerly from South Africa, Wynand gained experience in teaching English to adults and children in Taiwan, before being promoted to Director of Studies. During this time, he developed his skills in management, planning, communication, and creativity. He is always eager to learn more through his job and contacts, and he enjoys learning about power and especially Energy from Waste.
Wynand is very quirky, fun and thinks out of the box; he brings the type of energy that we admire at Astute. He has a certain ability to understand people and respond to their needs thanks to his empathic personality. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out and playing with his cat, Cheddar, while drinking a good cup of hot coffee.
