About the role:

Astute’s Nuclear team are currently working with a leading business in the Nuclear sector, who are currently recruiting for an EC&I Engineer to work on a long term contract basis, outside IR35.

The EC&I Engineer role comes with an hourly rate of £45- £55 per hour.

Key skills:

Design fundamentals
Application of Formulae and Calculations
Basic optioneering and equipment selection
Environmental impact to installation and equipment, for example IP Ratings and Special Locations
General understanding of EC&I drawings, both reading and production of Block, Line, Layout, Schematic, Wiring, Termination etc
Fundamentals of Safety Systems, Interlocks and of designing to ‘Fail Safe’
Control methodology

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the role:

Chorley(hybrid)
£45- £55 per hour
12-month contract
Outside IR35
