How did you get into recruitment?
Like a lot of people I fell into it randomly after working in hospitality/retail for several years and the rest is history!
What’s your favourite thing about working as an Account Consultant at Astute?
Having the opportunity to see whats going on in the global and UK markets for the nuclear sector.
You hear so much more info than the news and get to keep up with everything that is going on.
What have you enjoyed most about your recent successes as an Account Consultant?
Nothing puts you in a better mood than getting someone out of a working situation that just doesn’t work for them, and finding the perfect role for them!
What’s the most exciting thing about your market?
All the changes with the markets, the new and emerging technology such as fission and SMRs, and huge projects such as Sizewell C.
What advice would you give to those looking for a recruitment career or considering joining Astute?
Just do it, you’re going to walk in clueless but leave everyday with so much knowledge.
