The South Clyde Energy Centre, operational in 2026, is an advanced Energy-from-Waste Facility owned by Fortum and Gren Energy.
It will divert 350,000 tonnes of waste from landfills, generating 45 MWe of electricity – enough to power 70,000 homes.
